The fall monitor can be placed at the bedside or attached to a wheelchair and connected to a corded sensor pad positioned under the individual. When the individual rises and pressure is removed from the pad, the monitor sounds an alert to notify the caregiver. Once pressure is reapplied to the pad, the monitor automatically silences and resets, ready for continued use.
